Fiqh

Fiqh (Arabic: فقه‎‎ ) is Islamic jurisprudence, which is the practice of deriving specific rulings (such as how to pray) from Sharia. While Sharia represents divine law as revealed in the Quran and Sunnah, Fiqh is the human understanding of Sharia, derived from the interpretation (ijtihad) of these sources by Islamic scholars.
