Alhumdulilah when I went for umrah in April 2014 I got to do whatever I wanted to do, I got to visit places I had not visted on previous vists to Makkah/Madina. This vlog is of Makkah Museum which I wanted to visit since i heard about it. If you get a taxi from the Haram to Makkah Museum, explain to the taxi driver the MM is besie the quran factory. it is open from 3pm till 9pm. I love my visit there, loved seeing all the old artifacts from the Haram and Madina. Also if you get a chance try and drink fresh camel milk - it is pretty good! please make dua for this the brother who served us camel milk, He served us the milk at no charge , we gave him 50 riyals as a good will gesture and he returned it to us saying 30 riyals is enough for him, subhanAllah I was blown away by this! جبل أبي قبيس، يقع في مكة المكرمة في الجهة المقابلة لركن الحجر الأسود من المسجد الحرام .وقد تعرضت أكثر المصادر التاريخية والجغرافية التي سجلت تاريخ مكة وجغرافيتها للحديث عن هذا الجبل. وهو من أقرب الجبال إلى الكعبة المشرّفة. وهو أحد الأخشبين و لأخشبان جبلان في مكة, هما جبل أبي قبيس ، وجبل قعيقعان، وهما مطلان على المسجد الحرام من المشرق. وهما الجبلان الذين سأل جبريل النبي محمدص لكي يُطبقَهُما على قومه حين كذبوه و جحدوا به و آذوه , و لكن نبي الرحمة قال : اللهم اغفر لقومي فانهم لا يعلمون . و الأخشب هو كل جبل عظيم خشن. والأخشبان جبلا مكة؛ جبل أبي قبيس والأحمر، وجبلا منى. جفرافيا , يقع جبل ابي قبيس في الجهة الشرقية للمسجد الحرام في بضع مئات الامتارعن الكعبة المشرفة وكان يبلغ ارتفاعه 420 متراً تقريباً . و يقع كل من الصفا والمروة اللذين يطوّفُ بهما مَن حجّ البيت او اعتمر, على سفح كل من جبل أبي قبيس وقُعيقعان. يمتاز جبل ابي قبيس عن بقية الجبال انه أول جبل وضع على وجه الأرض و كان مستودعا للحجر الأسود.و أنه يشرف على الكعبة، بل إن الربوة التي بنيت عليها الكعبة تتصل بأصل جبل أبي قبيس. وأن أصل الصفا الذي يبدأ السعي منه يقع في أسفل أبي قبيس قبالة ركن الحجر الأسود. ذكرت تعليلات كثيرة لبيان وجه تسمية الجبل, يَرجِعُ بعضها بجذوره إلى المعتقدات الشعبية الشائعة بين الحجازيين؛ من قبيل: أنه تصغير قبس النار كنّاه اَدم بذلك حين اقتبسَ منه النار من مَرخَتين نزلتا على أبي قبيس فاحتكتا فأورَتا ناراً فاقتبس منهما آدم. وقيل أنه سُمي بأبي قبيس بن شامخ وهو رجل من جُرهُم اوى الى الجبل وانقطع خَبرُه فإما مات وإما تردى منه فسمي الجبل باسمه. وذهب البعض إلى أنّ وجه التسمية يعود إلى الخشونة والغلظة بمعنى أنه مستل من الخشب أو الأخشب وذهب الجاحظ إلى القول بأنّه سمّي باسم ملك العرب أبي قابوس. وكان يسمى في الجاهلية بالأمين نسبة الى زمن النبي ابراهيم و اسماعيل عليهما السلام. حيث جيء منه بالحجر الاسود حين كان يرفع إبراهيم القواعد من البيت وإسماعيل ووضع في مكانه من الكعبة المشرفة.

A mountaintop view of Makkah from the summit of Mount Hira at the time of Maghrib. This is where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ first received revelation.

A mountaintop view of the Cave of Hira (also known as Ghar-e-Hira in the subcontinent) where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would come to meditate and where he ﷺ first received revelation. It took just over an hour to climb Mount Hira and we reached the summit just before the sun started to set.

Masjid al-Khayf is a mosque where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prayed Salah. Seventy other prophets before him are also purported to have prayed at this very location. The mosque is located in Mina in close proximity to the Jamarat.

The Jamarat are three stone structures which Hajj pilgrims throw small stones at in a ritual called Rami. This ritual is sometimes called "the Stoning of the Devil" and represents the actions of Prophet Ibrahim, who threw stones at Shaytan when he tried to entice him into disobeying God.
