قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ( الصَّلَاةُ فِي مَسْجِدِ قُبَاءٍ كَعُمْرَةٍ )

The masjid is extremely beautiful mashaAllah. We pray two rak'ah, which according to an authentic hadeeth, are equivalent in reward to an Umrah when prayed inside Masjid Quba. It was a blessing and honour to pray inside another masjid which Allah (swt) mentions in the Qur'an and refers to "Masjid At-Taqwa" in Surah Tawbah: "....A place of worship which was found upon duty (to Allah) from the first day (Quba) is more worthy that thou shouldst stand (to pray) therein, wherein are men who love to purify themselves. Allah loveth the purifiers" [9:108]

Masjid al-Quba, the first masjid built by the Prophet (Salla Allah Alayhi Wa Sallam) and the masjid praised in the Quran, along with the people who prayed in it. ‘The Masjid built upon taqwa from its very first day has more right that you pray in it. For in it are people who love to purify themselves, and Allah loves those who are pure’ (Surah Tawbah).
