String bags are vital for your journey and can be used for a number of things:

  1. You should take your string bag with you to the mosques in Makkah and Madinah to hold your footwear and other items. Although there are shoe racks outside the mosques, the shoes left there are sometimes moved by cleaners or other people. It is recommended that you take your shoes off before entering the mosque, put the shoes in your bag and go inside the mosque with the bag.

  2. Your string bag can be used to carry a number of other essential items such as prayer books, tasbihs, sunglasses, medication etc. Please note, items such as tasbihs and prayer books should be placed in the front pocket rather than inside the main compartment with the shoes.

  3. You can wear your string bag while in the state of Ihram to carry your belongings.

We have sourced the best string bag for you to use during your journey.
